In the quiet and peaceful town of Gem City, Ruby Red clutched the torn leather seat of her dad's old car as it sped along the bumpy road. She felt her stomach churn from this morning's breakfast. The girl looked at her dad; whose eye's was locked on the road. She tried to calm down and looked out the window. Why was she so tense, anyway? Its the last few weeks of 9th grade.
